Red Eye Rosie’s is hiring for the position of Barista.

Responsibilities for the position will include opening the coffee truck and ensuring the area is clean and organized and equipment is calibrated and ready for service. Keeping track of stock and ordering items as needed is pivotal in making sure we always have what we need to serve our customers. Side work is a big part of what keeps the truck running smoothly so you must be willing to clean and stock the truck when you aren’t helping customers. Most importantly you must be courteous and respectful to all customers and employees. Customer service with a smile is a must for us!

Some other responsibilities may include:

• Record all sales using appropriate point of sales system, and follows all cash handling procedures

• Maintain cash bank, checks, and processes payment according to established procedures

• Close checks, balances and completes closing paperwork at end of shift

• At the end of the shift ensures all items are properly secured

We are looking to hire part time or full time and while experience is not required, it is preferred. If you do not have any experience, you must be willing to learn and train alongside other employees. We are looking for someone who is willing to work day to day operations as well as help with special events, which may fall on weekends or some holidays.

Must Haves:

• Must be flexible and work well with others

• Must be reliable

• Must be a self starter

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be able to work and talk to customers

• Must be able to learn and operate the Point-of-Sale system 

• Must be able to read, write, and do simple math at a 10th grade level

• Able to lift at least 25lbs

• Able to bend and pick things up from the floor, easily reach and clean above your head

• Must be able to enjoy work and serving the public, this is a fun job!
